all textiele art pieces ar made from 100% cotton rope. the rope is used both dyed and undyed. All textile art is handcrafted and set in a birchwood frame, which is lasercut locally. the dowels we use are made from beechwood with a PEFC certificate.
all hand dyed pieces are dyed with plant based dyes or a non toxic dye.
Similar to a new, unwashed garment that has been hand dyed, a transfer of color can happen. However this is mostly caused by friction. if you find the perfect place to hang your piece, the textile artwork should not be touched.
Best is not to hang your fibre art in direct sun light to ensure the colored rope used, won’t fade
Best is to hang your textile art as soon as possible. The fringes around the hoop may look a bit crinkled when your piece arrives. Lay your piece flat on a table, en gentle comb the fringes to the outside, using a smal tooth comb.
don’t use cleaning products or a damp cloth to clean dyed textile art. This may reactivate the dye and cause it to bleed.
Don’t forget that cotton is flammable so keep away from fire!
All the textile pieces include hanging hardware and instructions for an easy art installation.
all items are shipped from alkmaar, the netherlands with a tracking number and require a signature on delivery. shipping will be done by ups express, and usually takes 2-3 days for european orders and 4-7 days for international orders. depending on your country or state, additional customs fees or duty taxes may apply. studionom. is not responsible for any additional fees or taxes. when customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates
ups will make 3 separate delivery attempts, if you are not available to sign for the package. where available, your shipment may be taken to your nearest ups access point location, for collection. refer to the information on the ups info notice left by your driver. it is the buyer’s responsibility to claim the item before it is returned to the shipper. if an item is unclaimed and returned to us, we will be in touch regarding shipping it again however the recipient might be charged a new shipping fee depending on circumstances. if you want to hold your package at the nearest ups access point location, please contact ups and refer to the tracking number.

commissions there are no refunds or exchanges on purchased custom made items. before an item is shipped the client will receive pictures for final approval , when approved the sales are final.
made to order for non-custom items there’s a 30-day exchange period, where you may exchange your item for a similarly priced and available piece found in our collection.
