A lot of the wood I use in my sculptures are the scraps I get from a friend who is a cabinetmaker ⁠
Some pieces are damaged, have traces of previous use, but still good!⁠
Working with scraps and repurposing materials challenges me to explore all possibilities. I’m constantly weighing the options. What to keep, what to remove, where to adjust or add?⁠
Its just the best feeling when all pieces fall into place.⁠
